After our encounter with St Enda's last week, which ended in a draw, we knew this replay was going to be another tough match. With a place in the junior semi-final up for grabs both teams were ready for an hour's good hurling.

Two minutes into the game, St Enda's no.9 pointed from mid-field. There were six minutes on the clock when big Shan Lee got a yellow card for a pull on an Enda's player's leg. Worse was to come in the 7th minute, the Hightown men got a goal. It was a full 9 minutes before Vic pointed from 35yards. On the 11th minute, Vic dummied two St Enda's players and pointed again to reduce the deficit to 2 points. We then shot a wide in the 13th minute. Stevie set up Padge who shot accurately over the bar in th 14th minute. St Enda's pointed again from a free in the 16th minute. Determined hard-work from Stevie in the corner who drove the sliotár across the 21 yard line where Turbo pointed over the bar. Enda's again pointed in the 18th minute. Vic pointed a free in the 19th minute. We shot another wide before our captain (Vic) pointed yet another free from 40 yards. Turbo shot another wide for us before Endas pointed twice in the 26th and 27th minutes. Kevin Heggarty came on for Ciaran Reid in the 28th minute. Vic again pointed just before half time. Deep in injury time, young sub Kevin pulled a ground stroke but their keeper pulled off a great save to clear the sliotár. The ref then blew for half time- Glenravel - 0.07 St Endas - 1.06

We came out guns blazing in the second half, but our shooting was very poor. We shot five wides in a four minute spell, whilst the Glengormley lads pointed in the 7th minute. Their no.12 got booked for pulling on Padge in the 9th minute.

10 minutes on the clock when we hit overdrive for Vic pointed a free, followed by one from Padge from out at the sideline. Windows also got in on the scoring, after good work from Twig who set him up to level the scores, 0.10 to 1.07. Three more successive points in the 12th, 13th and 15th minutes was to put us in control of this match. Turbo sent a high ball wide, before making up for his error by pointing in the 19th minute of the second half. Twig got a yellow card for a foul which St Endas pointed from, to close the gap to 3 points. On the 22nd minute, Vic then sent a free over the bar to widen the gap to 4 points. There was then a "scrap" in our box between eight players form both teams. The ref consulted with his umpires and subsequently booked an Endas forward. From the resulting free, Soda sent an almighty strike down the pitch where he found Stevie, who pointed in the 25th minute of this second period. Endas replied with a point on 26mins. Twig then harried his opponent and passed the sliotár to Kevin Heggarty, who shot between the uprights. We shot two wides in injury time, before a goal mouth scramble in our box resulted in Endas getting a goal. From the resulting póc-out, the ref called for the sliotár. Final score, Glenravel 0.17 St Endas 2.09.

This was a very tense game for both teams, there were good scores from both teams. But the 6 minute spell in the second period for us, set a foundation for us to build scores from. Every player ran their socks off.
Best performances were from Soda, Twig, Fred in defence. Again, Padge covered all areas of the pitch. Turbo, Windows and Stevie also deserve credit, as do big Shan Lee and Ron. But best overall, man of the match by a mile, goes to our captain Vic McCann, who scored a massive 10 points (6 from frees).
