A big hard luck to three Bridini Ogá senior camogie players who represented St. Mary's College Belfast on thursday 1st feb 2012 . Oonágh Hyndman,Caoimhe Mc Aleenan and Bernadette Scally  played in an All Ireland Championship semi final against St. Patricks Drumcondra in Dublin. The match was played on St. Pats pitch in the capital, so home advantage suited the north dublin side. St. Mary's coped well considering missing a few regulars especially the loughgeil players who are playing for their club in the All Ireland semi's this sunday. Once again hard luck but you all have gained much experience.

Just returned from Dublin where Nialls team Robert Emmetts were beaten by two points in the All Ireland Intermediate Semi Final .They have only themselves to blame as they shot 12 wides in the first half.Niall was in goal and had no saves to make throughout the game.
Greta achievement all the same. Always nice to hear how ex Con Magees are getting on.

Best of luck to Niall Higgins who will line out as goalkeeper for London team Robert Emmets, tomorrow (sunday), in the All Ireland Club Intermediate Hurling Semi Final in Parnell Park at 1pm. They play Carlow champions Mount Leinster Rangers. If he lets Rangers beat him he'll never hear the end of it!

how long did gaa go on from con magee?
HI Ethan. There is some information on our Club WEB site in the button.

The story of the GAA in Glenravel dates back to 1916-17, when Rev. T Toal, C.c., who served as President and Chairman, DannyFyfe, Treasurer, and Charles O'Loan and J Higgins as Committee members, formed the first club.

We enjoyed the Spring League last year because it was lots of fun for both boys and girls. We liked watching the videos of the previous Spring Leagues. Can't wait for the 2012 Spring League to begin. We are looking forward to it.
Is the Spring League going to change this year?
How many teams will there be?
How long will the Spring League last?
Thanks for your questions on Spring League. We plan to run the Spring League the same this year as other years. We plan to start it on Sat Feb 11th and run it for 6 weeks. There will be 8 teams named after 8 counties in Ulster (poor Fermanagh usually looses out) and there will be 3 matches every Saturday. It is a great fun every year. Come along this year and we will take more videos for the WEB.

Alrite folks its that time of year again. Membership for the club is now due in for the new year. Anyone who wishes to become a new member can just come and see me, i will try and see everyone else as soon as i can. The fee for all non playing members over 18 is £20 and £30 for a couple.

Can i remind ALL SENIOR players (18+) that their membership fee has now risen to £40 for the year. This was a motion brought up at the AGM and was successfully passed at it. Can players bring their money to trainings as it will make it easier for me to collect. Thanks.

Aimee Dillon will represent Brídíní Óga Camogie Club in the Saffron factor.  I understand there will be great variety in the 12 acts and would encourage you all to go along and support Aimee and the others.  It promises to be a great night on February 10th.
Already ticket sales have been quite brisk and at Monday evening's County Board meeting, it was stated that over 200 of the 300 tickets had been snapped up.  So if anyone wants tickets, they had better get a move on.
Come on Aimee!!!
