Good week for our underage football teams starting on Tuesday when the minors defeated Dunloy, Thursday saw the un 16s win against Alder grove, Friday in FrMaginn Park the un14 had an easy victory over Moneyglass and on Sunday the came away from Aghagallon with a draw despite playing a man short. Well done

Under 12 Girls Football
Con Magees v St Enda’s
This morning our u12 girls travelled to St Enda’s in Glengormley and came away with a very impressive victory 6 goals and 4points to 3 goals and 3points.
Our back line of Rose, Shauna and Clodagh played a great game marking tight to their players and clearing well the majority of ball that came in their direction. Suzanna, Victoria and Kirsty formed our midfield, each of them battled hard frustrating the taller and stronger opposition with all three getting on the score sheet whilst feeding the forward line. Kirsten, Erin and Anita fought hard up front and interlinked well with each other to pick up some fine scores too. Lastly Edele our eager goalkeeper gave a great display carrying out some fine stops whilst also picking out players with her long kick outs.
This was a fine display of team work and determination and all the hard work put in at Saturday training has now started to shine through and pay dividend. Well done girls and thanks to the travelling support who made the journey so early on a Sunday morning especially Laoise who couldn’t play through injury but gave loads of encouragement from the sideline.

So we had a bad night, it happens there's no need for us to be slaughtered on the club website over it. that defeat was coming and we will come back stronger from it!!
Folks let's call a halt on carping over a single defeat. One defeat in 13 is really a time for celebration; must be a club record! We are full square behind the seniors in the last five matches and confident you can put this blip behind. Focus really should be on the success this season has been so far.

Couldn't believe the senior f-ball result against Ardoyne on Wed Nite when I checked the results on the Antrim Website. I couldn't get to the match due to me reffing a boxing match in Toome at the same time. Need a report of match. Any chance ?

a very poor performance last nite we need to improve if we r to beat aghagallon in mc cormick cup final i think we took ardoyne too lightly they were far hunger than us and one very easily at the end?

Best wishes from all the under 16 players and mentors for a speedy recovery to young Ryan O'Connor who suffered a broken jaw in an accident at home on Sunday. Ryan you'll be badly missed over the next few weeks.
