This team went out Wednesday evening and put all the drills they do in training into practise. Girls your play was outstanding. With great performances from all our girls giving 150%, John and Seamus, Imelda and Siobhan were so proud of you. Aine was outstanding in goals with terrific saves, Laureen & Laoise defending and clearing the balls to wings, with Colleen having a brilliant game, striking in the air and clearing all that came her way, Roisin stood solid in half back with some great clearances. Leona, Kate played their wee hearts out covering all areas of game, Caitlin proved she was worthy of her mid-field position, with it being the best performance of the season. Shauna and Victora battled for every ball and Victora found the net twice. Bronagh & Kirsty battled hard to keep ball inside Rasharkin’s twenty-one line. Catriona came on for an injured Leona and played with enthusiasm. Our girls were overjoyed to have won, but Rasharkin under 12 didn’t take it too well.
