Yes the scoreline is correct – even though we were missing a couple of regulars on the night. Rossa turned up quite a few short and we simply opened them up at will.
The important aspect of the night was the team-play and building up confidence throughout the team. There is little doubt that those playing for the Seniors are coming on really well. Some excellent play from Úna, Shannon Kerr, Danielle Scally, Shauna, Brónagh and Joanne, while Maria and Niamh were others who stepped up to the mark in this game.
Our final league game is on Monday evening in Cushendall with a 5.30pm throw-in –and it should be a lot tougher. Cars leave Spar at 5pm sharp please.
