We changed the team around for this game with the intention of pressurising the Rasharkin defence. This proved successful enough as our goalie only touched the sliotar twice, the second attack resulting in a late Rasharkin goal. However Rasharkin were content enough to soak up all the pressure and their goalie was superb bringing off at least six top class saves. Our girls played very well despite being continually frustrated by the home defence. All our scores were well-taken under pressure. A good outing although we should have run up a higher total. A number of good performances with Natalie and Danielle O’H continuing to impress.
