We proved that last week’s Loughgiel game was a freak result when we comfortably disposed of Tír na nÓg on Monday evening in Fr Maginn Park. The victory was nice to get – but more pleasing was the team-work that achieved it. One of Bronagh’s four first half goals came from four consecutive hand-passes that opened up the space. There were also passages of excellent play up the wings and players grew in confidence. Well done everyone – special mention for Leeanne, Claire and Cáitríona.
