The Seniors won their second league match on Wednesday – but it was a lot tougher than last week’s game against Ballymena. Nevertheless our girls worked very hard throughout the pitch with youngsters like Shannon W, Shauna, wee Emma and Úna really stepping up to the mark. Playing with the aid of the breeze, Caoimhe grabbed 2-2. Ardoyne hit back with a point at the start of the second half, but that only served to get our girls going and they put in a gritty second half to claim the points, Ardoyne’s goal coming in the last minute.
